Due to the nature of duties and responsibilities, most persons are restricted to mostly professional jobs throughout their career. Exposure to an adventure activity offers invaluable and intangible lessons in calculated risk taking, decision making, optimal performance under duress and management while fostering team spirit and camaraderie.
Risk factor is the basic element for any sports activity to be termed as an adventure sports. Similarly, scuba diving can never be entirely risk free. We, here at Bluforce Adventures have formulated a comprehensive standard operating procedures which involves the concept of demonstrating, performance based learning, which goes a long way in accomplishment of course specific requirement and the dive centre's safety first policy. It provides a strong platform for volunteer participant divers and novices to manage and mitigate the element of risk in scuba diving and ultimately have fun in the process.

The Bluforce Adventures is the brainchild of a defence veteran having a vast and immense experience in operating adventure sports activities and safety first as it's paramount policy. A defence personnel's commitment to offer safety and quality service is unparalleled anywhere in the world. Bluforce adventures comprises of experienced and qualified Instructors and divemasters providing quality dives to its customers. We are the pioneers to have dived into the waters of Kappil and adjacent areas like, edava and Paravoor beaches to search for a safe and beautiful place to dive. Venky's paradise, a dive site first dived and explored way back in 2018 at Kappil beach stands testimony to this fact. This dive site can be viewed in Google also. Bluforce adventures is the result of the unflinching resolve for gradual and continuous improvement in safety standards over the years. We have dive sites ranging from 3 to 12 Mtrs depth for novice divers to 30 Mtrs depth for advanced divers.

Location and area information

Kappil: Kappil is around 8 Kms away from Varkala in Trivandrum known as the tranquil heaven. Kappil is a beautiful beach - backwater destination located near Varkala. A drive through Kappil is as scenic as it can get. The road is flanked by the Arabian sea at one side and the Edava-Nadayara lake on the other side. The rocks, shielding the shores from the waves make it a perfect beach destination. The backwater ride is another interesting option for a perfect beach destination. Enjoy the distant sun setting in the horizon or the simple village life of a fisherman community. Visiting Kappil gives double the pleasure of Beach and backwaters.

Anjuthengu: It is a coastal panchayat town in the district of Trivandrum and situated 9km south west of Varkala town, along Trivandrum, Varkala and Kollam coastal highway. Anjengo, originally was an old Portuguese settlement between Kollam, Trivandrum and near Varkala. It was the East India Companies first trade settlement in Kerala. It contains old Portuguese style churches, a light house, a hundred year old school, tombs of Dutch and British sailors and soldiers. It played an important role in Anglo Mysore war in 18th century and mainly served as an ammunition store during the wars.

The Mampally church and the connecting beach near to it would be a treasure hunt spot for the divers and We have a deep dive site at the location with splendid marine life.

Kovalam: Kovalam is a seaside area in Trivandrum city and located around 12Km Southeast of the city. The beaches around Kovalam are popular vacation destinations for both domestic and international travellers. It has a swimmable shallow beach, where the depth ranges between 3 to 10 Mtrs. Both the diving challenge and marine life is fantastic.

Valiyathura Beach: Situated near to the Trivandrum Airport and Shangumughom Beach, away from the hustle bustle of city, a beautiful beach named Valiyathura is situated, which is one of the major fishing ports in Trivandrum. It is one of the oldest ports in India and was once the only port along the South Kerala coast. When Kochi became the prominent port in Kerala, Valiyathura lost its significance as a major port. The place is noted for its 60 year old and 214 MTR Pier, which is one of the most preferred evening spots of the city crowds. The marine life under the crisscross pillar paths underwater is as spectacular as it can be with beautiful time crafted tunnels.

Seasons and Good Visibility Timing Months

-A beautiful Scuba diving season in Trivandrum starts from Mid October till mid April.
-Visibility ranges from 5- 8 Mtrs to 20 + in peak season of Jan to Feb of any year.
-The Arabian sea has splendid marine life to offer.
